Lorena Middle School Principal Jennifer Allison has been selected the 2023-2024 TASSP Region 12 Middle School Principal of the Year. The announcement was made at the Texas Association of Secondary School Principals Summer Workshop in Austin. "I am very humbled and blessed to represent Lorena ISD and Region 12 with this distinction," Allison said. "I don't feel like I won this award alone. I would not be what I am without an amazing staff.  This award honors everyone at Lorena Middle School."

The honor allows Allison to be considered for the TASSP State Principal of the Year Award that will be announced in 2024.

Allison just completed her sixth year as Principal at Lorena Middle School, and 22nd year in public education.
