Lorena ISD will honor our nation’s Veterans on November 11, 2025 with events across the district.

Retired U.S. Army Master Sergeant Fidel Diaz will be the guest speaker for the LHS program. Diaz served over 23 years in Army Aviation and Special Operations. During that time he was deployed to various countries including Albania, Macedonia, Kosovo, Iraq, Afghanistan, Colombia, Japan, among other locations. Diaz received numerous awards including the Bronze Star Medal.

Aaron Williamson, a former Army Sergeant First Class, will be the guest speaker at the LMS program. Williamson currently works at Lorena Middle School as a teacher, and is an assistant football and boys track coach at Lorena High School. He joined the Army after high school in 2014 and served until 2024.
