The Lorena Middle School 7th/8th grade girls choir had a strong showing at the UIL Concert and Sight-Reading contest. The choir earned a Superior rating in Concert, and an Excellent rating in Sight-Reading.
Students prepare for two divisions to compete in the event. In the concert division students prepare three songs to perform before taking part in the competition. Sight-Reading includes chords and rhythms that are sung on solfege in a song that students have not seen.
Congratulations to the students in the Lorena Middle School 7th/8th grade girls choir on this amazing accomplishment.
