Lorena Middle School students finished second overall in the district UIL Academic competition. The team finished with a total of 605.6 points.
The 6th grade students accumulated 213.3 points. Seventh grade students combined to finish with 183 points. Eighth grade students earned 173.3 points. Those totals combined with One Act Play earning 36 points after winning the district contest gave Lorena a total score of 605.6.
